The Pre-school manager has had experience of working with children since 1992 and has the N.N.E.B Diploma and the P.L.A. Certificate, a City and Guilds Certificate in Special Needs and the St. John's Ambulance Lifesaver for Babies and Children First Aid Certificate.

There are 6 members of staff, 3 qualified and 3 experienced. All staff have been police checked. We have a ratio of one adult to every four children.

We are committed to the well-being, all round development and education of the children. We believe in promoting a learning environment that is patient, caring and happy. We understand that every child has their own individual needs, which need to be met.

Staff, regularly attend workshops and training days, run by the local branch of the Pre-School Learning Alliance (PSLA).

We have a key worker system, whereby each member of staff has a colour group, each child is in a certain colour group. Each member of staff will always be in the same colour group and will have a special responsibility for the children in her group. At all times during the session a key worker will be available to all the children and will liaise with other staff regarding all children.
